Yeats International Summer School 2019

In 2019, the 60th Yeats International Summer School will take place in Sligo between 25th July – 2nd August.
Directors Professor Matthew Campbell and Professor Lauren Arrington will present an intriguing programme that follows in the fine Summer School tradition of offering a unique learning experience through the sharing of ideas and opinions, during both the formal and informal events of the programme.
A week-long workshop for (full-time) Summer School Students.
Selected Professors lead a group comprising up to 15 students on a chosen Yeats theme.
Students will be asked to select their chosen Seminar theme in due course.
Monday 29th 2:30-4pm: Seminar 1
Tuesday 30th 2:30-4pm: Seminar 2
Wednesday 31st 2:30-4pm: Theatre Roundtable, chaired by Alexandra Poulain (open to the Public)
Thursday 1st 2:30-4pm: Seminar 3
Friday 2nd 2:30-4pm: Seminar 4

Irish Poetry After Yeats
The host for the 2019 Summer School Poetry Workshop is Irish poet and critic Caitríona O’Reilly.
Saturday 27th 1- 4pm & Sunday 28th 10- 4pm at the Yeats Building Sligo.
* Note: you will be asked to provide up to 3 samples of your work to be reviewed.
Fee is €120 (not included in Summer School fees) Booking required in advance as spaces are limited to 15 students.
