There is vast array of options for dining out, from cheap and cheerful to award winning cuisine. And with the fun of the world-famous Oyster Festival you can enjoy sampling fresh, quality local seafood perhaps washed down with some Guinness. Our communities tend to be smaller and tightly knit with community activities often acting as a central hub around which people gather. Community spirit is alive and well in the Western region. National Parks, rivers, lakes, mountains and the ocean all within close proximity to each other make the region a fantastic place in which to live.
