Féile Icarus is a business and social event for entrepreneurs, webheads and change artists to help them plan the future. The event is being held on the campus of GMIT in the centre of Letterfrack. Join a collaborative event for entrepreneurs, start-ups, SMEs, innovators and creatives over one day only as you examine and set your own drivers, USPs and key indicators together. At day's end the idea is for you to take home a tailormade practical strategy and flight plan for the next 9 months to carry you further in your endeavours, and hopefully succeed. You can choose from the Friday or Saturday event. People and companies involved in creative, entrepreneurial and fast-moving environments are often small and nimble but poverty-stricken when it comes to finding the time to plan and execute strategies, activities and objectives. Yet the same people and companies make up the lion's share of the economy and a huge, untapped potential. This event provides a personal strategic plan for each participant over one relaxed and fast-paced day, and the support to carry the plan out. Each creative and entrepreneurial journey is unique. Who else is coming? There's an initial participant list on LinkedIn and a list on Facebook. Please if you can book your place here to guarantee it, but failing that add yourself to the list on either Facebook or LinkedIn and we'll manage the rest on the day. If you want to Tweet about us or Facebook us, well, you know we'd like that. So do feel free to forward the event and link to friends and colleagues who might be interested on other networks, Twitter or e-mail. The target group for this event is anybody beavering away at their start-up, web project, craft, trade, product , business or creative concept who needs a little bit of peer love, a plan and guidance. We hope placing the event at the end of August will allow you to bring family or friends along and also have a break when not attending. You can go to the GoConnemara website for more info on stuff they can do and see. Join us for a day and share your stories. For further information visit us HERE |
