LookWest.ie competition: Win an overnight stay in the Ice House Hotel, Co Mayo

With less than a week before our May competition closes, we've had some great entries for our FourSquare and Facebook Photo Competition.  Get your entries in now!

FourSquare Competition:

For the first time in history, the Internet is focusing on local business in a major way. LookWest.ie wants to ensure businesses and locations in the Western Region are taking full advantage.  

Foursquare is a location based social network. Foursquare detects players’ whereabouts through the GPS function on their mobile handsets. Imagine being a hotel owner with several rooms available at 8 o’clock one evening. You know there is a big conference happening in town and people are going to be looking for rooms. Because of location-based services like Foursquare, you can now advertise a special for those rooms to people who are close enough to take advantage of it.

LookWest.ie want to promote the profiling of tourism and hospitality businesses in the Western Region by asking readers to check-in at four businesses in any four of the Western Region counties promoted by LookWest.ie.  Feel free to register your favourite cafe, bar, hotel or venue!
