Galway drama wins RTÉ's StoryLand competition

'Lucky Run' was set and shot in Tuam, and tells the story of Robbie Dolan (Donal O'Meachair) who was given 48 hours to repay his debts to a local gangster.

Producer Eamon de Staic of Capaillín Bán Teo production company said: "We're delighted to have won. It's been a wonderful experience participating in Storyland 3.

"It gave us the opportunity to learn from an experienced crew and the privilege of bringing the project to a warm, supportive community in Tuam".

StoryLand, now in its third year, aims to cultivate new talent and stories.
