A Conference at IT Sligo - 1.45pm. Friday, May 13th, 2011. RATIONALE Wood energy is a sustainable, local resource, which can be utilised by very effectively to provide heat, steam and power. The purpose of this conference is to promote the use of wood energy to potential users in the region and beyond. The agenda has been designed to answer all the questions which potential users might have on the subject. Areas to be covered include:
