The Roscommon Lamb Festival is now in its third year, and this one promises to be the best yet!

A celebration of family fun, great food, farming, heritage and community spirit in Co Roscommon which (unknown to some!) has the highest lamb output in Ireland. The Lamb Festival celebrates lamb in a diverse range of food, farming and heritage events over the course of the weekend.

2011 highlights will include BBQ Brazilia & Irlanda style, global kitchen, family fun day in Loughnaneane Park, Our 'Lamb Festival Restaurant' Final, Farmers' Market and much more.  Full details of the festival at http://www.roscommonlambfestival.com/

This year, the Roscommon Lamb Festival is aiming to break the World Record for the largest group of knitters in one place and need your help.

Its going to be a fun day and a fantastic achievement for Co. Roscommon & Ireland!
