Eric Elwood has announced the starting XV that will face the Llanelli Scarlets (The Sportsground, Saturday 12th February, ko 7.35pm)
The side remains largely similar to the team that beat Cavalieri Prato in The Sportsground 2 weeks ago. With Sean Cronin on Irish duty Adrian Flavin starts at hooker, the experienced former Irish U19 & U21 player has just signed a 2 year deal with Connacht. The only other change in the starting pack sees Johnny O’Connor return from injury to captain the side, he replaces Shane Conneely at openside flanker. In the backline sees Troy Nathan replace Keith Matthews at inside centre. Connacht have also been boosted with the re-signing of hooker Adrian Flavin, lock Michael Swift and flanker Ray Ofisa who have all signed contract extensions with the province.
