Following the success of last year’s project to stimulate new and existing small food producers in the region, Mayo North East LEADER Partnership Company is launching a follow-up project for food producers.
Two information evenings are planned with an experienced Food Specialist, on February 15th in The Enterprise Centre, Clare Road, Ballyhaunis and February 16th in the Community Centre, Killala, both at 8:30pm. The sessions are free and everyone is welcome!
People interested in fruit and vegetables, chutney and jam making, home baking, cheese, dairy, caterers, salads, meat, fish and poultry products, organics, micro-brewers, smokehouses and suppliers to Farmers Markets are welcome to attend.
Support will be available to both new and existing food producers, and will include one to one mentoring, training, food safety, guidance on legislation, routes to market, product development, packaging and labelling.
