Boyle Arts Festival is a magnificent festival gem in Ireland’s stunning North West with an emphasis on small, intimate events in interesting buildings. Blossoming into an annual 10 day event, it has built a significant reputation as one of Ireland’s best celebrations of the arts each summer, with an annual exhibition of Ireland’s best Contemporary artists in the magnificent setting of King House.

This year’s events include music from Catherine Leonard & Hugh Tinney, Túcan, John Carty & Shane McGowan; Comedy with The Nualas; Drama with Truewest & Fregoli Theatre Companies; Readings from prize winning author Kevin Barry & ‘Cold Cases’ writer Barry Cummins plus a special selection of Titanic 100 events including ‘Shadow of the Titanic’ writer Andrew Wilson. All this and Street Theatre, Workshops & children’s programmes too. Local art exhibitions, pop-up galleries & craft trails are also incorporated creatively into the whole town to raise the festival spirit.

The festival launches on July 8th with an open-air garden production of Sleeping Beauty by Chapterhouse Theatre Company- magical theatre for all the family.
