These information sessions will provide detail and information on all our supports.” Individual project officers will be available at the events to deal with queries and answer any questions applicants may have, “We’re open for business! This “economic climate” provides great opportunity and we’re here to help people explore their options.  I’d really urge anyone considering starting or developing a business idea to make sure they attend”.

In addition to funding supports, SWMDC also provides access to training and mentoring for start-ups and small businesses and recently held weekend business clinics with specialist mentors in accounting, marketing, PR, exporting and strategy.  Successful project promoters with SWMDC may be entitled to advice and mentoring during the course of their project as part of the supports offered by the organisation.
