Support Clinics for Small Businesses & SMEs

South West Mayo Development companySouth West Mayo Development Company, the rural development and enterprise support organisation, is pleased to announce a set of upcoming ‘Business Clinics’ designed to support existing small businesses and SMEs experiencing difficulties or simply seeking advice on how to improve their business’s performance.  The clinics, which will offer business owners a period of forty minutes with specialists in various fields, will take place at the organisations’ Newport office on 19th November, and run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Speaking about the upcoming clinics, Lorraine Toner, Regional Development Programme Officer says “It’s really important for innovative small businesses and SMEs, locally, to realise the support that’s on offer to them from South West Mayo.  These clinics will offer eligible business owners an opportunity to get expert help and advice on a wide-range of issues – from trouble-shooting business growth and development, to finance, sales and marketing”.  The clinics have come about as a result of feedback from clients and candidates from various enterprise programmes, locally, Lorraine comments.  The clinics are free and give individuals the chance to seek advice and trouble-shoot or query issues they are experiencing from several perspectives.
