IPKSA Kitebuggy/Sandyacht Event at Streedagh Beach, Sligo

The Irish Power Kite and Sandyacht Association will be holding a weekend of land based wind sports this weekend October 29th to 30th.

Saturday will be a day for the public to have a go at kitebuggying or sandyachting. Day membership is available for €15 to cover training, equipment and insurance. Sunday will be a race day for members of the IPKSA who will race around a fixed course set out on the beach.

These races can be a very exciting spectacle for the public to watch. Activities are all at the mercy of mother nature so let’s hope we have wind.
