Halloween at Lough Key Forest & Activity Park

Print

Lough gill halloweenIt's Halloween time again at Lough Key Forest and Activity Park in Co. Roscommon where you and your family will experience all the scares and spills of Halloween at the themed Lough Key Visitor Centre.

On 29th - 31st October the Boda Borg turns into the Halloween themed Boda Boooo. The Boda Borg is a Swedish concept unique to Ireland and is challenging for both adults and children. Once you enter the two-storey Boda Borg only teamwork, ingenuity, trial and error and skills you probably didn't know you have will allow you to progress through its 47 rooms! It contains fun-filled activities, imaginative puzzles and enjoyable tasks but no instructions.

There will be storytelling, pumpkin carving and face painting to entertain you on the bank holiday Sunday and Monday in the Visitor Centre.

The fright fest will continue with a Spooky Trail, through the old service tunnels and over the Tree Canopy Walk. Are you brave enough?

Boogie on down to the sounds of DJ Richie for the Children’s Halloween Costume Disco in the Visitor Centre.

Go in costume throughout the week and join in the fun with Lough Key scary staff. On Saturday 31st October Lough Key Forest and Activity Park is playing host to a magical adventure Spooky Costume 'Creepy Hunt'  through the Lough Key Forest Trails that will celebrate the mystery and lore of this ancient place.

The Caravan and Camping Park will be open from the 23rd of October to the 1st of November.
