Galway Abooo Halloween Festival (29th - 31st October 2011)

The Galway Aboo Halloween Festival takes place in the medieval streets of Galway’s Latin Quarter from Saturday 29th to Monday 31st of October 2011. It is the country’s largest Halloween Festival and plays host to a number of activities and free events which promises to be a superb weekend for all ages.

The festival commences on Friday night with the ‘Demented Carnival’. From 7pm, there will be a variety of carnival games. On Saturday you are invited to get you’re your best fancy dress for a huge Fancy Dress Party which takes over the Latin Quarter. From 8pm to midnight, i Radio will take to the main bandstand and pump out your favourite thrilling tunes with prizes for the best Halloween outfit.

From 2pm on Sunday, the kids are invited to the Latin Quarter for their own fancy dress party followed by trick or treat and Halloween games on the streets. In the evening there will be a re-enactment of Michael Jackson’s ‘Thriller’ with a twist!
