Along with the run, there will be a festival held over the October 8th-9th weekend. A running fair and expo will open at Carna Bay Hotel at 12pm on 8th October. Following the 10k Chonamara award ceremony, a lively Gaeltacht cultural session will be held at the hotel, with music, sean-nós dancing and sean-nós singing. The night will finish with a lively traditional Irish music session. Sunday will see a chi running workshop being held by Catherina McKiernan.
