Entrepreneurs to feature in 'Irish Sun' roadshow

The Irish Sun’s ‘Get Ireland Working Roadshow’ will be visiting towns and cities across Ireland, including Galway and Sligo from 20th September to 6th October in a bid to get people back into the workforce or working for themselves.

The free roadshow will include seminars hosted by industry leaders in entrepreneurship, recruitment experts, communications experts as well as up-skilling and retraining advisors. Attendees will also be able to avail of one-to-one clinics in CV preparation, effective online job applications and dressing for success.

The business people taking part include Sean Gallagher and Gavin Duffy from RTE’s Dragon’s Den, Mairead Fleming, deputy MD of Brightwater and recruitment advisor on TV3’s ‘The Apprentice’ and Cathy O’Connor, stylist on ‘Ireland AM’.

Also taking part are JobBridge, Ireland’s new national internship scheme,Obair Local Employment Services and The Communications Clinic.

The roadshow will be appearing in the West of Ireland on the following dates;

Galway, 29 September: The Meyrick Hotel, Eyre Square, Galway, 10am – 1pm and 2pm – 5pm.

Sligo, 4 October: Sligo Strand Hotel, Strandhill Road,10am – 1pm and 2pm – 5pm
