Eurosurf Championships to rock Bundoran this September

The eyes of European surfing will be on the “surfing capital of Ireland” from Sep. 23rd until Oct. 2nd as the highlight of the European Surfing calendar “Eurosurf” parks up at the world famous “Peak” and “Tullan” surfbreaks in Bundoran, Co. Donegal for 10 days to showcase a spectacle of Irish and International surfing.

16 teams from all over Europe including Morocco and Israel will compete for the prestigious Eurosurf title bringing a  welcome boost to the local economy at the tail end of the traditional summer season.

To celebrate Eurosurf Bundoran, there will be a series of entertainment happening in Bundoran;

• The Undertones - See them at Paris, Bundoran on (1st Oct)- 9:00pm.
• KILA - Kíla play the Wharf as the first gig in the Eurosurf Bundoran 2011 Party (23rd Sep) - 9:00pm
• Royseven - See them at Paris, Bundoran (24th Sep)- 9:00pm till late. Tickets €10 on the door only.
• The Rare Groove Funk Orchestra - (1st Oct) - 9:00pm till late
• Big Generator - See them at the Paris, Bundoran (1st oct) - 9:00pm till late
• Boxtie - See them at the Wharf – Thurs. (22nd & Sat. 24th Sept) - 9:00pm till late
• Also, Hollywood visits Bundoran for the Gala Premiere of Soul Surfer which tells the inspirational story of professional surfer Bethany Hamilton who lost her left arm in a shark attack at the age of 13. Regular screenings of Soul Surfer can be seen from Sat. 24th at Eclipse Cinema Bundoran - 8:00pm - 10:00pm
