Childhood theme for Club Merriman

CUMANN Merriman will run at Lisdoonvarna from Wednesday August 17th to Sunday 21st this year. In addition to lectures and panel discussions, there will be morning symposia in English and in Irish, poetry readings from contemporary poets during Cúirt an Mheán Lae, a walking tour of Lisdoonvarna and Club Merriman in the evenings.
 
2011 guest speakers include Fintan O’Toole, Professor Sheila Greene, Dr Joe Dunne, Siobhán Parkinson, Eavan Boland and the drama group Jigsaw will make a presentation on its work with youth mental health.
