On Thursday 28th July, Andy Rodgers and his Sligo Business Network in London are holding an evening of networking and updates on developments in the West of Ireland. Members of the public welcome to attend.
The venue on this occasion is the Battlebridge Room at King’s Place, the home of The Guardian newspaper and Business Venue of the Year in 2010. King’s Place is located a few hundred metres north of King’s Cross Station as you walk up York Way. It is a spacious modern building, with top art galleries to browse in for those who arrive early.
The organisers are delighted that their sponsor this time is LotusWorks, one of Sligo’s most successful trading companies, employing 340 staff in Europe, USA, Canada and China. The Sligo Business Network in London's interest is in assisting people with a background from Sligo (or an interest in Sligo) living in the south-east of England to network twice a year and also to encourage liaison between businesses in Sligo and the diaspora.
The Guest of Honour will be John Perry TD, Minister for Small Business and a native of Ballymote.
"I am particularly keen to ask Sligo people to get me in contact with friends or relatives who live in the south-east of England, so that I can keep them connected," said Andy Rogers, chairman of the organisation.
Location: King’s Place, 90 York Way, King’s Cross, N1 9AG - Thursday 28th July 2011 7pm to 10.30pm
