12th Annual Carmel Gunning Summer School of Irish Music

The 12th Annual Carmel Gunning International Summer School & Festival of Irish Music takes place in the Glasshouse Hotel, Hyde Bridge, Sligo from 1st August to 5th August inclusive.

Registration/enrolment  for  Traditional singing and music classes takes place in the hotel on Monday 1st August at 11am followed by  music classes.

Instruments taught are tin whistle, flute, fiddle/mixed instruments, traditional singing. There will be advanced classes in tin whistle, traditional singing and fiddle pending numbers.

Deposits must be in with the Director by the end of July. Festival entertainment during the week takes place in the Snug Bar, Stephen Street, Sligo town on Tuesday 2nd August at 9.15pm and Friday 5th August at 5pm 

Classes fininsh at 1pm on Friday 5th August.
