Only two more days to nominate your favourite Wonders of the West

All you have to do is take 30 seconds to make your nominations here for your favourite places, things to do, people or events in the West.  We're closing the nomination form at 5pm this Thursday and will then narrow it down to a short-list of 4 choices per county.

We've had some brilliant, quirky and hilarious entries including the Anti-Santa;  one of Galway's street characters, walking across to Omey Island on a windy day or a New Year's Day sunset in Spiddal.  Hargadon's bar in Sligo (above) has had quite a following, as has Father Ted's house!  Feel free to spread the word.
