View from Ben BulbenIt could be a deserted beach or bustling town, an incredible landscape or local tradition, LookWest.ie is delighted to launch 'The Seven Wonders of the West', a new campaign to find the hidden spots and magical treasures of Ireland's Western Region.
 
This November we're asking you to submit your favourite places and experiences from the Western Region.  Those places or memories that make you smile, just thinking about them.  Submit as many as you like by filling out this form (available Oct 29th).

Campaign Overview:

  • Voting Period (Nov 18th - Dec 15th)

  • Every nomination will be entered in a draw to win a €250 voucher from our kind sponsors Kennys.ie the Galway-based online bookstore with over 5 million books and worldwide free shipping.

  • Every vote will be entered in a draw to win an Apple iPad.LookWest.ie iPad

  • There will also be some smaller spot prizes announced for participation throughout the course of the campaign.

Terms & Conditions

  • Entry is open to all recipients except employees of the WDC, Kennys.ie and their families.
  • The Promoter is LookWest.ie and the Western Development Commission.
  • All nominated entries must be located in any of the seven counties in the Western Region; Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim, Roscommon, Mayo, Galway and Clare.
  • To enter the nomination process, participants must submit a nomination using the webform on LookWest.ie's website before Nov 18th or by emailing This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it  
  • To vote, participants must vote via the voting poll available on LookWest.ie or http://www.facebook.com/lookwest from Nov 18th - Dec 15th.
  • The prize for the nomination process period will be randomly chosen and is a €250 gift voucher from Kennys.ie
  • The prize for the voting process will be a randomly chosen name when the voting process closes and is a 16gb Apple iPad with WiFi (value €599)
  • All entries are subject to moderation. Any inappropriate content will be removed immediately.
  • The nomination process is open from October 28th until November 18th. The voting process is open from November 18th at 5pm to Wednesday, Dec 15th.
  • All prizes are non-transferable.
  • Photos entered into the competition may be displayed on the website of LookWest.ie.
