LookWest.ie Shortlisted for Irish Web Awards

The LookWest.ie Team are delighted to be shortlisted for a prestigious Irish Web Award in the Best Social Media Campaign Category.

2009 saw LookWest.ie embrace social media in many forms to engage interactively with our visitors and to create various contact points in addition to the website.  Through our social media interactions we aim to:

 - Benefit our users by pointing out articles, activities, groups, grants & initiatives that are potentially of interest and/or beneficial to them. 
 - Engage users and convey the positive and creative spirit that prevails in the Western Region. 
 - Highlight the benefits of living in the West whilst honestly addressing issues that exist such as incomplete connectivity.
 - Interact with and listen to our users to further develop and improve the information and initiatives we deliver.

The awards take place on 10th October at the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel, Dublin.  We’ll be there, so keep your fingers crossed for us!
