Fine Things Terms and Conditions

General

• The promoter of this competition is LookWest.ie and the Western Development Commission.
• Entry is open to all recipients, except employees of the WDC, promotional partners and their families.
• All entries are subject to moderation. Any inappropriate content will be removed immediately.
• Participants can enter multiple photos in the competition.
• Entrants are deemed to accept these terms and conditions by entering this competition.

Photo Submission

Facebook

• To enter the competition, participants must submit their entry on LookWest.ie's Facebook page from June 28th – July 18th at 4pm.
• All photo entries must have as subjects, people, places or things from one of the seven counties in the Western Region; Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim, Roscommon, Mayo, Galway or Clare.
• Entrants will be required to choose the relevant county category for their photo subject in the submission process.

Instagram

• LookWest.ie is also encouraging participants to post their photos to the new photo sharing social network Instagram, with special Instagram participation prizes up for grabs.
  
• Include the hashtag #LWFineThings with your photo and the appropriate county hashtag e.g. #Sligo #Galway #Roscommon etc.
• To be considered for the overall ‘Fine Things’ competition and prizes, all photos must also be entered via the LookWest Facebook application.
  

Voting

• After the submission process closes, photos will then be shortlisted for voting.
• To vote, participants must vote via the poll available on http://www.facebook.com/lookwest from July 19th at 10am to Aug 1st at 1pm. 
• Each person can vote on multiple photos but can vote only once.
• Public voting will determine the winners for each county category and the Overall Winner. 
• The County Category winner with the most overall votes will determine the Overall Winner.

• This prize is valid for 6 months from Aug 2nd.
• This prize is subject to availability and is not available on Bank Holidays or during the Christmas or New Year period.
  
• All prizes are non-transferable.

• Other prizes will be offered for each County winner.

Image Rights

• LookWest.ie may display photos entered into the competition for promotional purposes to promote the Western Region.  As LookWest.ie and the Western Development Commission are a not-for-profit organisation, your photographs will not be used for commercial gain.

Data Protection

• Participants’ personal data will be used in accordance with LookWest.ie's Privacy Policy, which can be viewed here.
• By entering the competition, you automatically agree to be signed up to the LookWest.ie newsletter. If you do not wish to receive newsletters from LookWest.ie, you can unsubscribe at any time. (Our newsletters are quarterly so your inbox won't be bombarded, don't worry!)
