Counties

The Western Region comprises seven counties – Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim, Roscommon, Mayo, Galway and Clare.

Together, they provide a rich and diverse landscape, a wonderful quality of life and numerous opportunities to live, work and do business.

Much of the region is made up of small rural towns and villages where strong communities thrive. The West is also home to vibrant dynamic cities and large towns which provide the perfect mix of urban living with rural tranquillity right on your doorstep.
